Subsequent design refinement led to significant performance and usability improvements and a >95% cost reduction; meeting aggressive commercial product cost targets.• Led brainstorming sessions and employed creative design thinking alongside structured cost/benefit and risk analysis to rapidly converge on novel solutions to complex design challenges, leading to being named as inventor on 87 worldwide patents (17 unique families) and more pending filing. • Provided strong leadership by example in completing critical technical deliverables, including performing engineering design calculations, solid modelling of complex metal and plastic parts and assemblies, sourcing and qualifying suppliers and overseeing prototype assembly and qualification.
