Face Forensics focuses on face, tattoo, and scene recognition. The Face Forensics application is designed to connect easily to any existing database of faces. A unique feature is the ability to work with part of a face - invaluable when trying to recognize partially obscured faces, injured faces, criminals wearing balaclavas, etc.We also provide highly experienced consultancy in these areas, and in the application, selection, and implementation of biometrics generally.

My work with Rogue DNA focused on what can be called material biometrics (the purists don't like it, but in two words it explains exactly what it does). Rogue DNA’s counterfeit detection technology confirms that any document is the original by authenticating the unique characteristics (e.g. fibre structure) of the actual piece of material at the microscopic level. Imagis was a public company which developed biometric face recognition and arrest & booking software. This is used by over 150 police departments in the US (mostly California), and Canada. Imagis developed the Childbase image processing system for the UK's National Crime Squad. This was the largest system of its kind in the world and was launched at the House of Lords in London in July 2004.
