As the Design Director of a Real Estate Development company, I am responsible for the design quality and the efficiency of the Residential, Office, Retail and Mixed-Use projects.I started managing the projects by outsourcing the Design Services, but due to my wide-ranging experience in architectural design, we now do most of the Conceptual Designs in-house. Since I joined the company, we have also redesigned several ongoing projects to obtain major layout and structural efficiencies.

I led the residential, office and mixed-use projects (Design and On-Site supervision) for the firm’s most important client (CARSO).

I drafted a Market Study and a Plan of Action for one of the leading Spanish Healthcare Architecture firms so they could evaluate whether to extend their operations to Mexico.

I coordinated the development of the Construction Documents for the facades of Foster + Partners “Reforma 432” high-rise building in Mexico City on behalf of the leading Curtain Wall manufacturer in México.

In the construction of the new BBVA-BANCOMER Headquarters in Mexico, I represented TF2L (General Contractor in Joint Venture with PRODEMEX), in its relation with its partner and its client, as well as being in charge of the written communication with the Supervisor TURNER CONSTRUCTION CO., and the Document Control System.

For ten years, I ran my own firm designing and building housing blocks, residences, a restaurant, and a large office complex for the Spanish Government. Most of my commissions came through architectural competitions (both open and invited). In 2011, I received an honorable mention in the Galician Architect´s Order Award for the public housing building I designed in Ribadeo. Barcelona, 2013.- Renovation of an apartment. Santiago de Compostela, 2013.

I worked for five years at this firm (Spanish National Award for Architecture 2016, RIBA Fellowship 2016) collaborating in many projects and competitions. I worked on the project for a housing block in Sabadell (in partnership with Pritzker Prize winner Rafael Moneo) and I was the Project Leader in charge of the Project and the Supervision of the Works of the Forum 2004 Esplanade and Photovoltaic Pergola (FAD Award 2005. "Outdoor Space"):-Project architect design and assembly of the exhibition "9 m2 daylight instruments" (FAD Award 2000. Category "Ephemeral Spaces")-Project leader responsible for the supervision of the construction Works of the "Forum 2004 Esplanade and Photovoltaic Canopy". (FAD Award 2005. Category "Exterior Spaces")
