I am a Consultant Chartered Hydrographic Surveyor with over 20 years industry experience both in site investigation and construction operations having operated world wide within all industry sectors. Being both adaptable and highly motivated, I am a resourceful manager with excellent communication skills and a capability to work well under pressure with a strong focus on HSE and cost control. In 2015, we established Hydrofix and provide highly experienced Survey Project Managers to site investigation and construction supply chain companies. Consultant Chartered Surveyor supporting ASSO Subsea nearshore trenching operations on the IFA2 HVAC cable installation in the Solent (UK).

Offshore Supervisor for site investigation and EOD operations on Hornsea 4 and Hornsea 2 offshore windfarm projects. Survey Manager responsible for a team of 10+ surveyors overseeing data acquisition, processing and quality control.

Contract Hydrographic Surveyor and Party Chief within the offshore and inshore survey industries for a number of survey contractors including Osiris Projects, UTEC, EMU & GeoConsult.

Responsibilities included project management techniques ranging from bid and project tendering to project completion. Experience also included management of project contract, design, scope, scheduling and financing.Work areas included:Bathymetric multibeam surveys;Inshore and onshore geophysical/geotechnical surveys;Inshore acoustic and visual pipeline/cable inspection surveys;Oceanographic and environmental monitoring surveys; andTopographic surveys.

Employed as a Hydrographic Surveyor responsible for navigation QC (surface and sub-surface), survey design, pre-survey static and dynamic calibration procedures, multibeam operation as well as post processing and charting of navigation and bathymetric data. Major project types include:Overseas cable route surveys (hydrographic, geophysical and geotechnical investigations) including transatlantic crossings and North and South American coastlines;Survey of the oil tanker 'Erika' wreck off the coast of France;Acoustic and visual pipeline inspection surveys for clients such as BP Amoco, Shell, Talisman and ExxonMobil, utilising both Remotely Operated Towed Vehicles (ROTV) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV); andNumerous 2D site surveys and debris surveys in the North Sea for oil and gas operatives.

University industry placement during 4 year undergraduate sandwich course. Resulted in a sponsorship arrangement to fund the post-graduate course in Hydrographic Surveying at Plymouth University.Duties included CAD and processing of survey data both onshore and offshore.
