• Use of excavators including 180’, 360’, dump truck, forward tipping dumpers, loading shovels, skid steer loader and crawler-dozer.• Following hand signals and working in close proximity to banks men.• Carrying out pre-use equipment inspections.• Carried out visual inspections of ground conditions, overhead and underground potential hazards.

• Managing one or more sites at the same time.• Playing a major role in pre-site and on-site meetings with a range of professionals who work to ensure a building contract is successful, including quantity surveyors, architects, engineers, contract administrators, site foremen, subcontractors, and the client who has commissioned the work.• Ordering materials and plant in liaison with purchasing manager.• Ensuring the project runs to schedule and to budget, managing programmes of work, and finding solutions to problems that may cause delays.• Supervision of employees, sub-contractors, apprentices and trainees when on site.• Maintaining the confidentiality of both clients and the company at all times.
