For the last 16 years, I’ve worked for Meech International. I was first employed as the Meech Air Technology Product Manager and then, for the last 9 years, as Meech Marketing Director. Meech is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of Static Control, Web Cleaning, Compressed air Technology and Surface cleaning products. Designed for use in industrial applications, Meech products are used in many different industries including EV Batteries, plastics, and print. I have experience in several areas, including marketing communications, brand management, direct marketing, public relations, market research and internal sales.In addition to my Marketing role, I'm also still directly responsible for the Air Technology Division at Meech. The MAT range includes Air Curtains and Air Amplifiers all designed to reduce compressed air usage by up to 70%. The range also includes Vortex Tubes, used for industrial cooling. Before Meech I’ve had a number of marketing positions in different companies. I love the challenge marketing brings and the opportunity to try different things and learn new skills. More recently, I’ve been volunteering as an Enterprise Advisor (part of the Enterprise Advisor Network). The network was formed of volunteer business professionals who help support pathways into industry and bridge the gap between the world of work and education. Enterprise advisors work with Careers Leaders and senior leaders at schools or colleges to create opportunities for young people. This is something I would love to find the time to commit to more as I feel the links between education and businesses are only going to get stronger in the future.
