Iain has been a part of KJ Tait Engineers Limited since 1993. Iain has significant senior level experience in the design and implementation of many major office developments in addition to projects in the retail and education sectors. On large projects Iain is responsible for the management of the mechanical services from concept design stage through to completion, including detailed design and specification and liaison with the Client, design team and contractors. Iain works in a strong team of capable engineers with a track record of producing quality design to meet increasingly demanding requirements and timescales. As the owner of the mechanical design, Iain works closely with his senior electrical colleagues in detailed co-ordination of the mechanical and electrical services and integration with the structure and the architecture to ensure a minimum of complication on site. After completing 30 years service with KJ Tait in 2023, Iain has a new role of Associate Director and looks forward to building on the success of KJ Tait working with all stakeholders old and new.
