Multi-service IT consultant specialising in data management and direct mail marketing. Automates business tasks using web-oriented Python. Also integrates with print related software like GMC or XMPie.

Here I mainly deal with developing and maintaining the technology side of direct mail programs.This involves in-depth knowledge of GMC, the tool we use for generating the final files, along with interacting with several other departments to meet strict deadlines for continent-wide marketing campaigns.I also work in Python to automate proofing, testing and final production of the product.

In this role I handle any and all IT concerns. I have managed SQL databases, and built marketing campaigns. I have built web stores and then presented them to customers.It involved creating an efficient electronic workflow for the business, and integrating several 3rd party applications (Avanti, XMPie, and Xerox Freeflow).It also involved programming, mapping and implementing variable documents and the production workflows around producing them efficiently.

I led a small team of external support people. I would also meet with other departments to set priorities such as custom development and bug fixes.Finally, I helped to design a new support process that dramatically reduced the number of open tickets (40%)

Produced web and sheetfed printing quotes for customers based on phone conversations or supplied RFQs.
