I am a registered and accredited psychotherapist and a proud member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with a Masters’ in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I provide open ended counselling within my online private practice (www.forwardthinking-therapy.co.uk), and support University students experiencing mental health challenges at St Mary's University - Twickenham. With an extensive working history in the health and social care sector, (in both institutional and community settings), I have a wide knowledge base and extensive skillset to support a variety of mental health presentations, from low level anxiety to suicidality and self-harm.

Due to this complexity it was essential that I was familiar with safeguarding protocol, this was followed on many occasions to ensure the well-being of service users, their families, victims and staff.• I facilitated both ad-hoc group-work and longer substance misuse programmes, as well as, auricular acupuncture and weekly 12-step fellowship meetings. • Furthermore I supported the development and training of peer-supporters who became an established and well-respected workforce within HMP Thameside.
