In my current role, I specialise in developing HMI screens, assisting with code development and preparing technical documentation such as Functional Design Specifications based on user specification requirements, alongside other technical responsibilities in automation for the water industry. I also assist with iFATs, cFATs and SATs on completed projects. My work focuses on PLC programming and control using ladder logic, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operation of automated systems on platforms such as Allen Bradley and Schneider.I bring a strong foundation in mechanical and automation engineering, having developed skills in PTC Creo Parametric, CAM, and engineering design, with a particular passion for CAD. In addition, I have hands-on experience as a CNC Operator/Setter in precision engineering, which has deepened my understanding of production processes and quality control.Before my current role, I gained extensive experience across various industries, including analytical roles, retail, and service sectors, where I honed skills in problem-solving, team leadership, and meeting critical deadlines. My diverse background in manufacturing, management, and technical roles has equipped me with strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to complex challenges.Outside of work, I enjoy programming in Python, working on stained glass projects, and exploring my interests in history, cycling, and cultural hobbies such as mudlarking and metal detecting. I’m always eager to apply my technical expertise while continuing to learn and grow in the engineering field.
