What sets a great agent apart from the rest?I deal with agents every day and I find it is easy to identify the few agents that set the bar high. Is it the better-than-expected sales results? Is it their local knowledge? Or is it because their buyers win their dream homes at auction. In truth these are all great qualities of good agents but this does not necessarily make them exceptional.The point of difference for me is all in the approach, do you believe your agent is really working for you or are you a little concerned they are more focussed on themselves? It’s a simple question but I am amazed at how many clients I meet that just expect agents to be focussed on themselves. I have a simple belief that my reputation is my greatest asset and to build a great reputation in real estate I have to put other people's interests before my own. I pride myself on doing the right thing, treating my clients with honesty and respect, whilst providing exceptional service and simply telling it how it is. If people are at ease and trust your word, then negotiations become clearer and great results will follow.The phone calls I love the most are from people who say “can you help my friend”. My goal is to be that person for you.
