During COVID-19 global lockdown, I was employed as an English teacher for a Year 2 class of eighteen students and an evening class of Year 3 students. My weekly-prepared lessons include:- Foundational English vocabulary- Conversational grammar taught topically- Reading, writing, and phonics instruction- Supplementary science and geographyIn the course of this role I also developed small games-based learning opportunities for my class using C# programming and the Unity game engine to supplement my traditional classroom instruction.
