Iain has created various vessel designs, including a Multi Activity / Multi Industry, a true Multi Activity Unit (MAU), DP2 self-propelled jack-up, that is just as at home working in offshore renewables as in Oil & Gas. The vessel principle is flexibility to minimise dead or down time and achieve project cost-savings wherever and however it is employed, whether that be offshore oil & gas or renewables industries.Iain's background includes in-depth knowledge of the design, engineering, construction, installation and commissioning of mobile offshore units (6th/7th generation DP drill-ships, DP semi-submersibles, jack-ups, various service vessel types).
