I have over 25 years of professional experience in the areas of heritage management and archaeology across South-Eastern Australia (including Tasmania). As part of JCIS Consultants a wide range of archaeological and heritage projects have been undertaken. In particular I have been teaming with other consultancies to act as Excavation Director on a number of projects in NSW.Some publications are available at https://sydney.academia.edu/IainStuartIn recent years I have tended to focus on work in the general area of Industrial Heritage (including Defence sites). For the last four years I have been part of a team advising on World Heritage Nomination - Industrial Heritage in Kyushu and Yamaguchi in Japan.
