My career in Strathclyde Vulcanising Services Ltd (SVS Ltd) has evolved through networking and capitalising on opportunities. SVS is a great company and I am very fortunate to be a Director within a growing business with such a bright future ahead. My skills and ability to lead has stemmed from my education and employment background.Graduating from University I was determined to challenge myself and decided to set up my own company within the plumbing and heating industry, servicing domestic markets such as landlords, letting agents, home owners, local business etc. After many successful years of trading the company establish a quality reputation and developed into all-trade management. This opened opportunity to manage larger scale projects and tender for insurance work. The company grew and I personally gained valuable business experience before deciding to move on and build a career path in a different direction.I was then employed into financial services before moving into a marketing role as Director. My role within marketing opened networking channels, where sales and new business was a focus, it was recognised I had a talent for project management and I was contracted out to businesses to support their marketing development which lead me to Strathclyde Vulcanising Services Ltd.Working at SVS seemed the perfect job for me as it was a balance between office and tools. My enthusiastic approach and drive to succeed was noticed by the MD who offer me an office management role, following promotion to Directorship within one year which is a great achievement honoured by hard work. My experiences have allowed on-going contribution to company growth which I am motived to deliver and dedicated to build the business to the best it can be.
