I have always had a passion for acting and after working briefly in the insurance industry after A levels I returned to education as a mature student and completed a Performance Art degree in 2000. I was then fortunate enough to gain experience at a film and TV production company before being given an opportunity to do some presenting work in Greece. Since then I have pursued acting work in many forms including theatre, television and film and have been fortunate enough to perform across the UK and Europe.At the age of 15 I completed a lifeguarding qualification and I worked in the leisure sector first as a lifeguard and then as a centre manager in several facilities across Gloucestershire. I hung up my whistle after 31 years as a qualified lifeguard in 2022. Having worked at the lido in Cheltenham seasonally I was offered the role of Events Manager to expand on the existing popular triathlon. I added further sporting events as well as theatre, cinema and activity events to the seasonal calendar.I then joined the team at Gloucester Guildhall during a time of recovery following the Covid pandemic and lead the operations of the Grade 2 listed facility in the centre of the city.
