Iain Batty is a partner responsible for the co-ordination of the Commercial Practice in Central and Eastern Europe. Iain supervises a team of over 100 lawyers advising on commercial issues throughout the region such as lifesciences, technology law, financial services, employment law, competition law and telecommunications law in the firm’s regional offices. He also acts as a client partner for a number of multinational companies spread across a variety of sectors and co-ordinates the teams of lawyers working for them across the region. As well as advising on general commercial issues, Iain has a particular focus on advising on financial services issues including insurance and pension funds.Iain Batty has over twenty years’ experience advising multinational businesses throughout CEE. He has been involved in drafting legislation for a large number of countries in the region. Clients benefit from his insight into forthcoming changes in the law and the likely impact on their businesses.
