As a Senior Analyst with the Carbon Trust Africa team, I am responsible for the technical delivery of a range of projects in the fields of decarbonisation, including quantifying organisational and value chain emissions, Science-based target-setting and feasibility assessments, decarbonisation trajectories and strategy, energy efficiency, green finance assurance and business development. These projects have been in the spaces of multinational, multi-commodity mining, ICT, green finance and banking.Prior to my role with the Carbon Trust, I worked as an Environmental Officer focusing on compliance auditing within the cement, aggregate, and waste-to energy sectors.I have a Masters Degree in Environmental Science from Wits University with a research focus on waste management policy, an Honours Degree in Geography from Wits University with a research focus on the socioeconomic impacts of carbon offsets, and a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science and Economics from Monash University.
