I started with Matchtech in 2013 and after 12 months spent working within the Aerospace department I moved internally to join the Rail department as a Recruitment consultant.I currently work within the project delivery arm of the rail department specialising in the contract market, placing highly skilled construction and delivery professionals.Within this team we work with a number of leading rail client organisations, contractors and consultancies including Transport for London, Crossrail Ltd, High Speed 2 Ltd, UK Power Networks, Atkins, CH2M Hill, Arcadis, Skanska, VVB and Costain to name a few.

My responsibilities included;- Client handling / Account managing- Managing personal workload.- Supporting senior staff.- General maintenance of database.- Interviewing, recruiting, appraisals & Head Hunting on behalf of clients.- Establishing live requirements and advertising on company website and other sources.- Problem / Query Handling. Quality Awareness and Implementation.- Monitor own workload and setting weekly, monthly and quarterly targets whilst relaying these to my department manager.During my time in this position, I resourced for various white collar engineering positions within the Aerospace industry. Resourcing for clients such as BAE Systems, Aero Engine Controls, Goodrich Actuation Systems, Eaton Aerospace and AgustaWestland to name a few. This involved working on a mix of both contract and permanent roles.My day to day duties were mainly working through filters and determining strong candidates suitable to what positions i was looking at. This would involve me speaking directly with candidates and discussing there current status, what motivators they had for pursuing other opportunities, what requirements they had for future work and whether they would be interested in the role i was working. I would report my database research to senior level colleagues at which point the necessary client dealings were inputted. For a large portion of time within this role i worked predominantly on an account for BAE Systems working specific roles within the aerospace sector and dealing with candidate level and client level whilst ensuring compliance was met at all stages through from initial advertising of roles, administration and eventual contracts being signed.
