As the Projects and Implementation Team Manager I manage a dynamic team who deliver ChannelAdvisor’s Marketplaces and Where to Buy projects to new and existing ChannelAdvisor clients as well as oversee the delivery of all projects by the Project Management team. As Team Manager I possess a thorough understanding of Project Management processes as well as a good understanding of the industries and marketplaces that ChannelAdvisor operate in. I manage and coach my team to enable them to deliver for multiple clients parallel as well as leading and overseeing the output of the Project Management team. I am also required to effectively communicate programme progress to my senior management team and the organization where required.Duties include but not limited to;• Briefing team on daily, weekly and monthly tasks related to the delivery of all Where to Buy projects.• Monitoring the timelines of all projects and ensuring that all deadlines are met by the Project Management team.• Monitoring the actions of the Project Management Team and ensuring that the highest level of standards are met with Project Management output.• Reporting the daily, weekly and monthly progress of all projects to your manager.• Briefing customers on the requirements of new and existing Where to Buy projects.• Briefing your manager on the progress of new and existing Where to Buy projects.• Act as a first point of escalation for the Project Management team for clients and colleagues.• Hosting conference calls with clients to bring together all stakeholders of the Where to Buy project.• Host face-to-face meetings with clients when required to update them on Where to Buy project progress.• Working and collaborating with large, global digital agencies on Where to Buy implementations.• Help customers understand our technology and the Where to Buy solution.• Work with clients to implement our technology in multiple areas (Brand Sites, Social Media, Email Campaigns, Micro-sites)

To manage the lifespan of existing and future projects to ensure successful delivery within agreed timescales and budgets. Preparing and building required documentation for each individual project.Coordinating project tasks and assigning responsibilities to relevant staff, monitoring and chasing progress.Liaise closely with the Head of Operational Change, internal staff and relevant external clients ensuring project dependencies are identified and managed.Managing the communication and information flow between all parties involved or contributing to the project (minutes, risk log, issue log, project plans and gantts, regular update meeting co-ordination and leading, regular project updates). Attend checkpoint meetings with the project steering group and report on progress against the plan.Prepare status reports for operational and board meetings.Instigate and maintain consistent project processes to ensure tight control over progress.Maintain accurate configuration records ensuring there is an audit trail of all project activity.Liaise extensively within the business to take account of Business, User and Technical considerations.Report directly to Head of Operational Change for escalation of project issues and for regular formal and ad hoc project progress meetings.
