Iain is a composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Toronto, Ontario with nearly 15 years of experience crafting original music for film, TV, advertising, web and stage productions.Working as a freelancer with many of the Toronto-based production companies led him to join the team at Eggplant Music+Sound as a composer in 2016. Along with the Eggplant team, Iain recently contributed score and songs to the Peacock/NBC Universal’s series, Take Note (2022). Iain is currently co-composing the score for Amazon Prime’s Gary and His Demons. His work can be heard in the feature film/series Deep Six (2018), the VRV animated series Big Foot (2019) and on Roku’s first First original animated adult comedy series Doomlands (2022).Iain has composed the music for a number of short films, including Basted by award-winning writer/director/producer Mark Datuin. He has lent his talents to numerous other features, web series, musicals, music libraries and advertisements and also wrote and performed the string arrangements for Canadian Idol finalist Chad Doucette’s 2010 debut album, Hit It!, and recently on the debut album BLACK MOON by Flemish Eye Records artist CIVIC TV.Iain’s work has been featured on hundreds of ads for brands such as Porsche, Bell, Mitsubishi, BMW, Ford, President’s Choice, and Visa, and in the Tim Horton’s short documentary The Away Game, which has amassed over 2 million views on YouTube.
