Liverpool

All elements of design associated with building Commercial Boats's using Solidworks™ 3D CAD software. In conjunction with RNLI engineers delivered 3 Waterjet-powered Mk2 E Class Lifeboats for the River Thames. Worked to Rescue Boat Code and ISO Standards.

Shotton, North Wales

Produced 3D design models using value engineering principles to output detailed 2D manufacturing drawings of volumetric building modules. Disciplines include structural and 3D buildability analysis, M&E routing, outfitting, fire engineering and interfacing at construction sites with principal and other contractors. Models and drawings produced on Inventor 2010. Designed construction assemblies and managed the fire and structural testing to meet relevant standards.Worked to CDM 2007 and UK Building Regs on MoD Project Allenby/Connaught and Citizen M Hotel in Glasgow.

Cumbria

Psuedo-static analysis of the internal structures within Astute Class Submarines in accordance with BR3201 / BR8470 Shock Grading System. Analysis verified with Femgv 6.3 F.E.A. software with Femsol II, TK Solver 2 with Roark & Young tables and compiled electronically with MathCad 2001, MS Excel and Word. Literate with PTC’s CADDS 5 and associated visualising and database tools. Compiled calculation database which was electronically linked to calculation sheets and related documentation.
