At 18, I was in business thanks to loan and grant funding.After around four years of work in Web design and development, graphic design, and advertising, I started making films for some of my clients. In 2007, I directed my first documentary, Post-Blitz Clydebank, and a 3MW for Channel 4; in 2009, Clydebank Through A Lens; and The Clydebank Blitz: Beneath The Embers in 2011.I'm currently making a feature-length documentary about men's inequality in Scotland and the UK, The Problems About Men (https://www.theproblemsaboutmen.co.uk/), exploring issues such as misandry, and violence against people, particularly domestic abuse against men and boys.In addition to my love of film and design, I'm an experienced photo-journalist and photographer. Professional, efficient and friendly, I enjoy photographing for my clients, as well as photo-journalism and reportage.I hold a press card from the Association Internationale de la Presse Sportive (AIPS; International Sports Press Association) as a member of the UK's Sports Journalists' Association (SJA).I'm willing to travel throughout the country and, indeed, the world. I have a UK passport.In business, I'm a skilled negotiator, with particular knowledge and experience in commercial law, including the areas of intellectual property (copyright and trade marks), media and technology. I have successfully acted as both party litigant and authorised lay representative in the Scottish courts.
