I am a very experienced in well project management having spent over 30 years in the oil and gas industry. I am highly motivated to deliver high quality projects, to the requirements and expectations of the client with a strong desire to achieve excellence in all areas of HSE. I have a wide experience of different types of projects working within different business models, in various locations around the world and can adapt to challenging situations.I enjoy being involved from the beginning of a project, building the team, developing contracting philosophies and developing all the project processes, HSE plans etc.I enjoy working with the engineering teams and always have a good relationship with the rig based teams in order to develop a "One Team" culture between the Operator, Drilling Contractor and Service Providers.I strive to deliver excellent performance in all areas of HSE from my team. To date we have always delivered this in New Zealand which shows that even in remote operating environment, it is possible to perform both operationally and from an HSE perspective.Within the New Zealand arena, I have extensive knowledge of the local legislative regime as well as good working relationship with a number of the Regulators. I have been involved with, and responsible for, co-ordinating a number of rig imports & exports to/from New Zealand.
