CurrentPoint of contact for the reporting of interference, on a national and international basis. Responsible for the Radio Station out of normal hours and weekendsProvide 24 hour cover for interference to Safety-of-Life services. Liaising with foreign administrations to request co-operation in the investigation and subsequent elimination of interferenceChecking, measuring and assessing the parameters of radio transmissions. The identification of transmission systems through the use of radio receivers, software, frequency measurement and direction finding equipment, spectrum analysers and ancillary electronic data analysis equipmentEvaluating the results of investigations using technical reference documentation such as the ITU Radio Regulations, the National Frequency Register, International Frequency List and other official sources of informationMonitoring of specified frequency bands as requested, utilising equipment including the Remote Monitoring Direction Finding (RMDF), Timed Distance of Arrival equipment (TDOA) and trailer mounted Digital Direction Finding equipment (DDF)
