I am an experienced CFO whose key skills lie in project management, M&A, problem solving and ensuring non-finance people understand finance requirements and information. In addition to my ACA qualification, I also hold the Corporate Finance qualification (CF) from the ICAEW. Having joined Cenergist in June 2021, I am head of the finance team and work with the CEO in leading the business through the IPO process, which was completed within 6 months of me joining the Group. During that time, I have also overseen the completion of an overseas acquisition, and lead the process on a small UK based, vertical integration acquisition, that was completed in September 2021, as well as overseeing a re-finance process which is expected to complete before Christmas. To date my project management skills have been used the most, as within each larger tasks there have been several smaller tasks which have needed managing and completing to ensure the business can move on to the next stage of the process. In addition, I have looked to strengthen the finance team and its reporting capabilities to ensure the function can cope with the increasing demands of a rapidly growing and listed business.
