I’m currently working as a Cloud Security Architect in a consultancy capacity for Airwalk, part of the Reply group. I have a long background as both a Security Architect for a global Fintech enterprise and an experienced Lead Technical Consultant working in high assurance cyber security for governments and militaries world wide. Long standing CISSP and CCP Information Assurance Architect with a wide array of technical cyber security experience and knowledge. In my current role I focus on AppSec (Threat Modelling, SAST, SCA, DAST, Pen Testing, Bug Bounties, WAF) and Cloud Security (IaaS, PaaS, FaaS, SaaS, IAM, Cloud Config Posture Management, IaC, GaC, Workload Protection, Protective Monitoring etc) for web and mobile apps - typically working within micro services, API & Cloud first architectures. I apply a DevSecOps security approach (with a focus on security automation and Security Champions programmes). This is typically all delivered within Scaled Agile development environments. As an architect my core role is to help identify security requirements and develop secure architectural patterns for new processes, products and features. I also have considerable experience reporting on security performance & threat intelligence to leadership teams via regular forums, and helping organisations to maintain ISO 27001, T-Scheme, PCI DSS, PSD2 & FCA compliance.
