- Oversee the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, goods, and services required for the organization.- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize costs and supplier relationships.- Manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and mentoring.- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable agreements.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products to support operations.- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and compliance with agreements.-Identify cost-saving opportunities through supply chain optimization and process improvements.- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, budgets, and vendor information.- Implement and maintain logistics and transportation strategies to optimize distribution and delivery processes.- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in sourcing and logistics operations.

• Planned and supervised shipments from production to end-user and scheduled daily and weekly routes.• Negotiating transport rates and contracts with trucking companies, shipping lines, and air freight carriers. • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for the movement of dangerous or hazardous goods.• Collaborating with sales teams and customer service representatives to ensure deliveries are made on time.• Liaising with customs officials and government agencies to ensure compliance with all import/export regulations and requirements.• Preparing and submitting customs documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and other relevant documentation.• Coordinating and scheduling transportation of goods across borders, including working with shipping companies and freight forwarders & CHA.• Tracking and monitoring shipments in transit using various tracking systems to ensure timely delivery.• Maintaining accurate records of all customs-related transactions, including customs clearance documentation, import duty payments, and other relevant information.

• Resolving customs-related issues, such as delays or problems with documentation, bill of lading discrepancies, or customs and CHA.• Import Accounting and Export Accounting/Import Payment and Export Receipts Accounting.• Clearing backlogs of Imports and Export submissions pending on IDPMS and EDPMS & Bank/RBI/FEMA rules and regulations relating to Import and Export transaction.• Export related documents to the Bank and clearance of EDPMS on Bank/Customs portal• EPCG Licensing and Bond Closing for Import & Export• Handle the Central Excise/Customs Clearance: Regulations, Procedures and Documentation.• Export & Import Certifications & Dispute clearance.
