CurrentKey Details: • Manage over 3,000 acres of almond and pistachio farms - GLF11, GLF20, GLF1, GLF5, GLF6, GLF12, GLF17, GLF 18, GLF 22 • Responsible for maintaining and inventory of $500,000 of agricultural equipment. • Develop analytical resources for stakeholders regarding farm status. Overview:My role involves analyzing existing operations, crops, staff, and financial documents to recommend improvements that boost productivity and profitability. I prepare comprehensive plans and schedules for planting and harvesting, ensuring that all staff members understand their roles and expectations. Regularly visiting different divisions to inspect crops and perform soil and water tests is crucial in maintaining our farm’s high standards.I oversee the restocking of essential supplies such as seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides, and manage the scheduling of repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery. Additionally, I handle the marketing and sale of our farm products, ensuring they meet market standards and achieve the best prices. Ensuring all staff adhere to health and safety regulations is a top priority, and I also assist in recruiting and training new team members to keep our workforce skilled and efficient.
