Beating the odds... My senior year of high school I went to prison while everyone else went to prom. You could say until that moment I hadn't hit rock bottom. But what does that saying actually mean?We all know it but how do we actually define it? The best version I've heard is this:"Rock bottom is when things happen to you faster then you can lower your standards." Over the course of a handful of years I slowly lowered my standards that lead to a life of crime. One for which sent me away to pay for my debt to society and one for which my brother lost his life to. Together we got prison and death.Since my release, roughly 20 years ago, with nothing but a G.E.D., internal drive, and the grace of God, I have worked my way up from a kitchen helper to general manager, and then on to become a business advisor and senior training administrator in corporate America. Today I am the full owner of my own automation software service company.Having personally lead teams of +70 plus; being in charge of market sales of over $24M; and working directly with multiple franchise business owners across the country to increase their business performance I come from the world of applied knowledge.
