Alhumdullilah Starting New Role as a Senior SOC Analyst (Splunk)•Defining security controls/policies and to ensure that controls are operational as per the standards.•Ensuring uptime and operations of key security controls which include SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, WAF, Email/Web security appliances and behavior analytics solutions.•Ensuring SIEM deployment/operations, key log integration/ingestion/parsing/aggregation, data sanitization, building correlations, threat intelligence gathering/integration and defining use cases for automation.•Threat hunting, threat detection, threat containment and eradication, adaptive response, incident detection/response/forensics, malware analysis, fraud management and end to end threat activity handling.•Identifying security gaps and recommending policies/procedures/tools to improve operational intelligence, host-based and network-based visibility and overall security posture to achieve quarterly/yearly security maturity goals.•Managing industry leading SIEM solution and 24/7 SOC operations.•Incident handling, monitoring critical servers and systems, devices integration, reporting and resolution of offences, discovering real-time threats, analyzing suspicious malware, investigating potential security violations, finding root-cause, identifying areas that require new security measures and recommending on fine tuning of rulesets/policies.•Responsible for Vulnerability Management.
