Ensuring the timely and concise dissemination of information throughout the network as the communications focal point within the System Operations Control Centre. Working alongside the Duty Officer, the in-charge of the carrier’s day-of operation, tasks included:• Maintaining the integrity of the flight schedule and ensure accuracy of movement data• Publishing and communicating delays and cancellations• Composing operations bulletins and distribution of operationally significant information to internal and external stakeholders• Initiation of Emergency Communication protocols via the Everbridge mass communication system in line with company SOPs• Responding to aircraft service requests• Actioning aircraft swaps to maximize fleet utilization, reduce ground time and minimize impact of AOG• In the absence of the Duty Officer; oversight of all flight and ground operations considering current operational circumstances while complying with pertinent regulations
