Greetings! I am Md Ashik Khan, a passionate individual with a profound interest in the fields of deep learning, computer vision, and machine learning. My academic journey has been enriched by my recent completion of post-graduation from the department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Kharagpur.Before delving into advanced studies, I accumulated valuable industry experience as a Software Development Engineer, working for two years in the tech industry. During this time, I contributed to the development of ERP and accounting applications, leveraging the power of React JS and Laravel. During my post-graduation, I had the privilege of conducting a large-scale study in Representational Learning and Benchmarking in Video Action Recognition under the guidance of Dr. Abir Das. Additionally, I served as a teaching assistant, supporting a class of 160 students, and as a research assistant at the CVIR Lab.Throughout my academic tenure, I undertook various projects, including "Context Specific Quote Recommendation from Historical Text" and "Evidence Retrieval for Fact Verification," which provided valuable insights into information retrieval and natural language processing.My research interests span a wide array of domains, including deep learning, computer vision, action recognition, information retrieval, NLP, and machine learning. I am deeply fascinated by the potential of these fields to drive innovation and solve complex real-world problems.I am eager to connect with like-minded professionals, researchers, and industry leaders to explore collaborative opportunities and contribute to the advancement of technology and knowledge.
