Custom Release Agent
CurrentAs a Customs Release Agent, I ensure the efficient processing and clearance of goods through customs while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. My key responsibilities include: • Facilitating the release of shipments through Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) by preparing and submitting accurate customs documentation. • Managing the clearance process for imports, including handling any issues related to duty, tariffs, and regulations. • Coordinating with clients, freight forwarders, and customs officials to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods across borders. • Conducting inspections and verifying shipment details to ensure proper documentation and adherence to trade security programs such as Partners in Protection (PIP). • Maintaining detailed records of all shipments and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies. • Assisting in resolving any issues related to customs clearance to minimize delays and ensure smooth logistics operations.In this role, I am committed to strengthening the supply chain security and ensuring the seamless flow of goods across borders.
