I currently serve as an adjunct professor, teaching online marketing courses and I serve as a public service officer and custodian of police records. However, while these can be considered job titles or functions, at the core of my being, I just love serving and helping people succeed.In my education-related role, I think of myself as being an advocate for student success and want to serve more as a facilitator of that success. The two key concepts that I believe to be vital for success are value and the personal brand. I strive to convey to students to be diligent at finding what value they can bring and in doing so, they will define and communicate their brands in such a value-added way.In my law enforcement role, I consider myself as being an extension of the city and department for which I serve. I work diligently at being a strong ambassador of the department, whether it may be while dispatching a call, fulfilling a records request, or taking a report from the citizens we serve. I strive to learn and develop proficiencies in the technology we use to do our jobs – CAD, RMS, and others.My specialties include training and development, learning management systems, course design and curriculum development. I do all that I do because at the end of the day, I am a family man. I love my family (wife, 6 children, and 3 dogs) and appreciate every minute I get to spend with them.
