Working among the national design team, I worked as a Fire Sprinkler and Alarm drafter. Whether it was construction systems or drawings required for permitting to support electronic & sprinkler system. With an office of over $50 million in revenue, this high paced office was constantly under pressure to meet deadlines and create solutions to many of issues that could arise. I prepared systems drawings such as floor plan layouts, riser diagrams & material submittals according to fire and life safety codes. Sometimes that submittal documentation such as data sheets, drawings, permits, etc was apart of my daily activities along with finalizing as-built drawings & revisions. We used AutoCAD versions 2015 to 2017 during my tenure at SimplexGrinnell.
