My project aimed to design and develop a Dynamic Vocalization Provider interface for speech recognition. The interface uses tools such as: Speech Recognition and Text-to-Speech to translate the user requests using a telephone. It consists of a number of libraries for recognition of different languages. The targets for this application are non-native individuals or groups who have different accents and have difficulties for using everyday speech applications.

Parametric Test of Direction of Arrival Estimation using FPGA’s In this project, I performed parametric testing on an FPGA-Based direction of arrival system(DOA) that is part of a smart antenna system that been developed at Montana State University. The Smart Antenna system is designed to detect the spatial location of users and form directional beams corresponding to their location. This allows the system to increase the power of the communication link to provide higher quality data transmission. This work is supported by the National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program under grant # EEC-1002577.
