✦ Responsible oversight of reliability program for plant equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities to ensure continuing process capability and optimized asset availability/efficiency.✦ Set up, provide technical review and approval of all aspects of Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) products for plant equipment including: preventative maintenance (PM’s), spare parts inventory analysis, operator’s daily checklist (ODCL), and energy control plan (ECP).✦ Provide periodic PM review/evaluation to strengthen quality of Planned Maintenance Standards and foundations to improve the performance of assets.✦ Provide input to capital project development and review and implementation as necessary.✦ Lead and coordinate maintenance technicians to perform corrective maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.✦ Develop detailed hierarchies in SAP – PM module for plant equipment in accordance with ISO 14224 (collection and exchange of reliability and maintenance data for equipment).✦ Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) efforts and equipment condition assessment teams to develop detailed business plans for asset renewal and replacement.

Selected Accomplishments:• Managed capital, expense and direct government funded projects worth an accumulated total of over $130+ million from inception through completion, garnering both national and international recognition.• Value-Engineered cost savings in excess of $5M, both on an individual basis and collaboratively, on multiple capital, expense and direct funded projects. Won several NNS Opportunity-for-Improvement Quarterly Awards (2002, 2005) for cost savings/avoidance initiatives exceeding $100K and $1M.• Managed award-winning acquisition, design, installation, start-up, and commissioning of the “world’s largest”, “technologically-advanced” $3.5M electric pipe bending machine and a “first-of-its-kind” $1.5M dual-head electric pipe bending machine. Also nominated for this award in 2000, 2003, and 2006 demonstrating a sustained level of high performance, commitment and exceptional dedication.• As a testament to high performance, selected by CFA senior management to lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the highly successful installation and start-up of a $1.5M dual-head pipe bending machine. • Provided design and consultation services for new construction, additions, renovations, and demolition of U.S. Department of Energy plant and laboratory facilities.• Established design parameters and prepared pre-construction technical documents including: feasibility and value engineering studies, design criteria, conceptual design, and preliminary proposals.• Provided coordination and technical oversight of outside design consultants; evaluated bid proposals and participated in cost negotiations; reviewed design change proposals for conformity with approved engineering and construction standards; reviewed shop/vendor drawings and submittals.• Collaborated with plant divisional representatives, design team members, contractors, and design consultants to ensure projects met operational, technical and regulatory requirements.• Performed structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, steel and masonry structures for static and dynamic loading; prepared construction specifications and cost estimates; and directed and coordinated the work of technical support personnel.
