So, I'm Daniel, and at the moment I'm a Pharmacist. Since qualifying, I've spent time living and working in Edinburgh and Glasgow, working in both an employed and more recently self-employed capacity, covering the whole central belt and beyond. I've enjoyed my time doing this but having now reached my 30's I feel it's time for a change to a more dynamic and developmentally challenging role, where I can use my academic ability and transferable skills but also learn something new. As a Pharmacist I've had exposure to working in a high-pressure environment, working to strict guidelines and using analytical thinking to solve a multitude of problems. Being a locum requires me to manage my own finances, diary and time effectively, and also means I have to be highly adaptable and responsive to change. As much as certain aspects of Pharmacy mean no two days are the same, due to the retail setting most days are very much the same overall, and this is what I'd like to move away from. The areas I am particularly interested in are Recruitment, Auditing, Analysis and Consulting. With a strong ability to foster good working relationships with stakeholders of all levels, strong analytical and research capabilities and detail and solution-oriented approach to all I do, I believe I would be a strong candidate in any of these fields. That being said, I'm open to discussion regarding any positions that you might feel would be suited to my background. Outside of work, when I'm not jumping out of planes I also enjoy writing, and have been trying to learn more about copy writing and the digital marketing space.I'd love to have the opportunity to network and meet new people and am keen to hear from anyone of a similar mindset.
