I am a seasoned educator and literacy advocate with over 25 years of experience dedicated to fostering academic excellence and empowering students and educators alike. As the District Title I Literacy Lead for Henry County Schools, I specialize in designing and implementing targeted instructional strategies that improve literacy outcomes for early elementary students. My passion lies in cultivating a love for reading and developing effective, research-based interventions that address the unique needs of each learner.Beyond my work in literacy, I am the Founder and Executive Director of Social Butterflies Youth Services, Inc., where I lead initiatives that mentor and uplift young girls, helping them realize their full potential. I am also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where I actively contribute to community service and leadership development.In addition to my professional endeavors, I am deeply committed to lifelong learning and growth, which drives my interest in homeschooling, incorporating nature into education, and creating innovative content such as podcasts and educational series.
