Oh hello, I didn’t know you’d be dropping by today!I'm a first generation college graduate and real estate investor, born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I have over 15+ years of experience in technical recruiting, diversity/equity/inclusion recruiting programs, and have had the wonderful opportunity to recruit at all levels (Campus Recruiting > Full-Lifecycle Recruiting > Sr. Program Manager DEIB - Recruiting Programs > Executive Recruiting). I've also been very lucky to have experience redesigning recruiting processes, training (inclusive interviewing, sourcing, hiring manager trainings, empathy walks, etc) as well as worked with large data sets to create, implement, and execute large scale recruiting programs on a global scale. Here are some things about me that are good to know:1) I don't check my InMails as often as my work email. I know, right? Shocking for a former recruiter (once a recruiter, always a recruiter IMHO) to admit but I check e-mail more often. E-mail, for all its faults, is so much easier (especially on mobile) so please feel free to send a message to me directly (Fred at vamosenterprises dot com) instead. 2) As a major Batman fan, I wish I could be as fast and cover more ground and meet with everyone who offers a cup of coffee for insights on investing (real estate, mobile home parks, land flipping/developing, buying cash flowing businesses) or general career advice. Unfortunately, I’m not the Dark Knight, have his gadgets, or the cool car (as much as I would like to). If you want to reach out, please do and will try to point you in the right direction, if I'm not the correct person. If you have made it this far, you’ve earned a sweet high-five from me.Random stuff: I’m a huge Batman fan, Fútbol, always time for a ceviche, love TV/film, huge music fan, huge proponent of inclusive recruiting & all things DEI, and love traveling. My philosophy: • Everyone is a customer • Everyone is a recruiter • Data is my friend • Keep it simple • Take my job/work seriously, but not myself• It's easier to just be nice to everyone all the time• Levity, levity, levity

Senior Program Manager - Recruiting Programs, Amazon Devices (L6)Amazon Jan 2018 - Nov 2019Greater Seattle AreaLed the recruiting programs strategy for Alexa (15K employees) special projects globally with little to no budget, support, or tools. Non Confidential Results achieved were: improving the recruiting process resulting in shorter hire times, increased candidate experience scores, improved education for recruiters/sourcers, creating a global summit on best practices (150+ in attendance and resulted in 8% increase in hires globally), and creating and rolling out unconscious bias training to Alexa (15 countries, 17+ different languages) which was later rolled out to Amazon company wide. I like to use qualitative & quantitative data along with what customers/end users are saying and simply create a roadmap, goals that align with the team/corporate goals. Monthly and quarterly (depending on the projects or goals) I like to review efficacy, what worked well/not so well, and distribute in various ways to my stakeholders (email, newsletter, video, in-person, decks, papers, etc). I also helped educate hiring managers to be a better recruiting partner (Everyone is a recruiter training). I also worked on launching the first hiring metrics that Alexa could use in real time for recruiting efficacy in a self-service manner. I also at times or where business needs dictated would roll-up my sleeves and recruit, source, screen candidates, and work with hiring leaders as an example or hands-on support. I would focus on people manager roles, Sr. Product Managers, Sr. Technical Program Managers, Designers, and SDE I/IIs. I created strategies on recruiting individuals based on their profile in a few different ways: original content, email, InMail, sourcing strategies (x-ray, SeekOut, Lusha, PIPL, etc), in-person events, collaborating with our ERGs on cultural celebrations combined with recruiting efforts, and partnered with Executive Recruiting for pipeline development and sourcing.Led a team of 4 recruiters and 3 of them were promoted within 12-18 months. -
