As the co-founder of LLAMAMAMA Productions I created short and long form documentary style videos for local businesses, non-profits, schools and artists.Previous work includes "Finding Bosnia," a feature length documentary which was screened at film festivals worldwide. This personal film puts a human face on the aftermath of displacement and explores the experience of living between cultures. Join Ivana Horvat as she returns to her home country of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first time since fleeing war in 1992. Home video footage, stories from various generations of Bosnians, and experiences with friends and family paint an authentic picture of this post-war, post-socialist country while highlighting the magnificent spirit of the Balkans. Scouted locations, assisted camera crew on site, organized daily schedules, supported crew in studio, worked in the control room, interviewed and helped coordinate auditions for America’s Next Top Model. Edited an original series for the Portland affiliate of the CW television station, which aired in Portland and Seattle.

Hollywood, Ca

Directed and produced a documentary entitled "Unheard Voices of Transgender Youth" for the Transgender Youth Harm Reduction Program about the daily struggles of Transgender youth in Hollywood. This film was screened at Outfest, the nation's largest LGBTQIA Film Festival and had a university tour throughout California. The documentary is told through the eyes of the young adults featured in the film. Each participant received flip cameras to record footage of their lives, and talk about what was on their minds. My co-director and I aimed to give this population a voice through our film and rightfully gave it the name, Unheard Voices of Transgender Youth.
