Welcome to my LinkedIn profile! Below is a brief summary of my career and what I am currently up to. If you are interested in collaborating or need help with remote teams you can reach me at: jeff@jeffjbutler.com.I am currently the CEO of JButler International which focuses on helping companies build workplace dynamics and remote workforce. I spend a good amount of my time traveling and consulting for different companies on the topics of workplace dynamics, remote work and technology changes that are on the horizon. This is not only in the US but in different cultures and workplace environments overseas.Before founding my workplace consulting company, I spent almost a decade in Silicon Valley working as a Software Engineer which is where my initial interest in organization psychology began to develop. Since then, I have personally addressed over 100 organizations internationally on workplace dynamics issues such as Google, Amazon, LinkedIn, and Wells Fargo. Much of my work has been featured in dozens of media outlets such as Forbes, Fast Company, Business Insider and HR News. Lastly, I have had the opportunity to appear on TEDx in both 2016 and 2017 with both talks focusing on psychology. In addition, I wrote two books - The Authentic Workplace and The Key To The New You.

Advanced Software Engineer InternNokia May 2013 - Aug 2013Espoo, Southern Finland, FiWorked in Nokia's Advanced Engineering Division where I developed a Cross Platform UI that is compatible with Windows Phone, IOS, Android Phone, Firefox, Chrome and IE. I used PhoneGap to wrap HTML5, Javascript and CSS code to develop an application that uses as little as possible mobile native code. Also developed a UI to help developers test new hardware that led to a dramatic speed up the process of development and debugging. Participated in a project of 10 interns that built a mechanical Bartender all the way from housing to the UI. I co-developed the UI for the mechanical bartender in which communicates with an Andruino and computer to properly handle user input.. -
