He served as Chair of California Bar’s IP Law Section. In 2008, Lawdragon named Jimmy (at age 36) one of the “500 Leading Lawyers in America." He was honored by Century City Bar Association as IP Lawyer of the Year (2011) and by Association of Media & Entertainment Counsel with its Industry Leader Award (2017). A diversity advocate, Jimmy co-chaired California Minority Counsel Program and was inducted into its Diversity Leader Hall of Fame (2015). Diversity MBA Magazine named him a “Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executives Leader” (2015). Jimmy graduated UCLA at age 19 (B.A., Communication Studies) and from USC Law Center at age 22 (J.D.)
