Hello! My name is Jordan Schaffer and I’m currently the executive producer for KTBS 3 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Before that, I spent 5 years producing the top-rated morning newscast in Dallas/ Fort Worth: Fox4’s Good Day. I also worked as an associate producer for one year at KDFW. Formerly I was the producer for the two-hour morning show at KXII in Sherman, TX. I also wrote, produced, and hosted News 12 Forum. I am a broadcast journalism graduate of the University of North Texas. While there, I anchored for the City of Denton Daybreak show. I previously hosted a weekly entertainment segment on the NTDailyRadio.com show, and worked on weekly newscasts for NTDAILY News and Denton Community TV. I rotated between anchor and producer. I would pitch, shoot, write and edit each story.Formerly I was a Social Media Manager & Business Development Executive at Online ImageWorks. Online ImageWorks is a social media company owned by John Sparks. In my role, I worked with small businesses and individuals to get to know them and help them find out how they can learn all there is to know about social media.In 2011, I completed a social media/broadcasting internship with the arena football team Dallas Vigilantes. I am extremely interested in social media, digital marketing, and online journalism.
