Localisation of powertrain parts from built to print drawings and establishing defined quality process and assurance controls. -Assigning initial project risk assessment and timeline with internal stakeholders (R&D, LCM, LCIM, Procurement and QM) for each new project as per CVDS QG gate. -Initiate internal/external APQP kick-off and PPAP kick-off and tracking project timeline as per the requirement.• Approving PPAP with real time production run at rate with PPAP SOP audit at supplier location as per AIAG /VDA requirements. • Technical review of PFMEA during initial kick-off for effective poke system implementation in fixture designing and during PPAP approval to ensure effective preventive and detective measures were in place.• Monitor supplier performance Metrics and deploy improvement plans according to the rating for quality, delivery, and development. • Implementing effective corrective actions for quality issues reported with CAPA, CV2 audit and QC tool. • Working with suppliers on several tasks and processes, (but not limited to) ensuring robust process controls are in place to prevent nonconformities; continuously monitor suppliers key manufacturing processes and quality management systems for improvement opportunities.• Addressing Filed quality issues with detailed tear down analysis and implementing permanent corrective action by identifying the root cause. • Working in an international environment across time zones and ensuring CC developments reviews and updates in Japan and Germany.
