The primary officer responsibility is providing for the armed protection of life and property on university property. This was accomplished by patrol unit, T3, foot, and/or bicycle patrol of campus roadways, walkways, parking lots, administrative and academic buildings and residential areas located on campus as well as other satellite locations and student housing located near campus.

A customer service specialist is the primary point of contact for customers visiting our store. I address every customer as they enter and act as their consult on the products, services, and promotions that are offered throughout the store. I reinforce sales support in each department as well as operate the cash registers at check out. Collaborated directly with the art and design directors to establish the visual concept and direction of a biannual magazine publication. I was assigned to co-manage a small team of photographers and assist in administering weekly staff meetings. As a team, we developed visual interpretations for each section and delegated various photo shoots for specific feature articles. Other functions of the photography editor included: photographing and assisting photo shoots, post-processing, and placing each image on the spread.*The Point hit the national spotlight when it won the Pacemaker Award at the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) and College Media Advisers, Inc. (CMA) convention. The Pacemaker Award is one of the most prestigious honors among college student media and is highly sought after by campus newspapers and magazines.

Managed the advertising revenue account for a weekly student news publication. I actively generated new clients for print and online advertising campaigns. I directed the entire advertising cycle from the facilitation of client contracts to the invoicing. Responsible for an increase in number of active print ads and the overall advertising revenue for the organization. Other functions of the advertising manager included: cold calling, outside sales, placing weekly ads on layout, and the production and distribution of media kits.

The gatehouse attendant serves as the primary contact for incoming students and visitors at Biola University's campus. A campus safety cadet has the same essential functions. As a student cadet, I patrolled on and off campus buildings, provided student escorts, conducted facility lock-ups and walk-throughs, enforced parking guidelines, and reported suspicious activity. As a gatehouse attendant, I guarded the campus entrances during graveyard hours to prevent unwanted visitors. Main functions of a gatehouse attendant were assisting students coming back to campus, writing parking passes for visitors, monitoring security cameras, and maintaining daily shift-reports.

Relevant Media Group is a leading media company and publisher of the bimonthly magazine, Relevant Magazine. I served as an advertising and marketing intern. I collaborated with the Director of Business Development in the expansion of both print and online advertising campaigns. I wrote and designed the corporate media kits that were distributed to clients on a national basis. I also assisted the marketing manager with the drafting and development of high-profile client proposals. Supported the art director and graphic designers by taking studio photographs, researching stock images, and preparing visuals for production. Other functions as an intern at Relevant included cold calling and various office tasks.*Relevant has a current circulation of 82,500.

I conducted in-house image processing for a high volume photography studio. I performed a variety of post-production tasks... including retouching and ordering each set of prints. I also functioned as a part-time photographer at several community events, and often assisted staff photographers with studio sessions.
