Currently I head the solutions and delivery for Sustainable Finance and Investments practice focused in building innovative solutions for sustainability (ESG - Environment, Social and Governance) in BFSI space. Spanning across 30 years, the first decade was characterized by assignments with Corporate Clients and Government. The private sector focus had been in strategy assignments, sectoral studies, corporate planning, diversification studies, investment analysis, feasibility studies, market strategy studies, internal systems assessment, and HR structures etc., I also had a great opportunity to work with clients of private sector and public sector (PSUs) from engineering companies to textile mills. Subsequently made a foray into engagements in the social sector funded by major multi-lateral and bilateral donors and vertical funds - in the areas of institutional strengthening, capacity building, technical and IT support in program impact assessment with Outcome, Result based development of frameworks, Grant Management solutions, tools and IT solutions for development projects-Local Self Governance, Developmental Planning, Public service delivery. Have been instrumental in creating a focused proprietary IT framework for Carbon footprint measurement, ESG integration, Public program governance for ownership, harmonization, effectiveness, partnership, and accountability. The envisioned future in these frameworks to provide the power of IT to bring Transparency, consistency, single version of truth, collaborative and intuitive working amongst program managers, organizations.
