As VP of Product in a corporate startup, I am responsible for staying tuned in to the developer community and to identify trends in application development, listen to ideas, and provide vision for our platform features and capabilities. I work with teams of developers to leverage the platform to deliver innovative, risk-reducing, and cost-effective solutions to our customers.

As Product Owner, I brought Agile to Coactive in the form of strict Scrum. As is said, "unless you wrote the book on scrum, you shouldn't change it". Our teams improved our efficiency by a factor of 4 in a single quarter. I was also responsible for scaling scrum to 3 independent teams using dedicated scrum masters and associate product owners.

• Lead a team of 12 developers (associates and contractors).• Pioneered conversion to National Government Services' new mainframe automation workflow engine (ShackNet) to drastically improve processing claims for Medicare/Medicaid.• Automated solution saved >$5MM per year in claims processing costs.• Responsible for conversion timeline and resource allocation plans and tracking.• Managed ~6 projects at any given time.

• Acting Diversity and Workplace Culture Ambassador Site Leader.• Redesigned and developed an application for Finance department in 1 month (project had been struggling for 2 years)• Designed report to discover existing claims processing balance of approx $8 million, some of which had aged over 4 years.• Designed and Developed NGS's new mainframe automation engine (ShackNet).• Successfully presented ShackNet for buy-in and support at Manager, Director, and Vice President Level (CSD, Security, Internal Audit, etc.)• Rescued existing Credit Balance web application from failing warranty period and potential CMS (government)audit finding.
