I am a public procurement professional with cumulative experience of over 30 years which includes over 20 years of experience in procurement of goods and services under external donor funded projects in health and HIV/AIDS sector at national and state level. I have provided procurement support services to Health Department of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), MoHFW, Govt. of India. I have handled numerous assignments of procurement of health sector goods, drugs, equipment, consulting and non-consulting services, developed Implementation Plan for piloting of Voucher System in select districts of the state of U.P. in India, developed Procurement Manuals and Standard Bidding Documents for procurement of drugs, equipment and other goods and hiring of Consulting and non-consulting services. I have actively worked towards strengthening procurement systems and processes in line with specific requirements of clients at state and national level. I have conducted several training / workshops for capacity building of procurement officials at national and state level. I have developed strategies for competitive bidding / selection of Consultants for implementation of complex consulting assignment in health sector, which includes developing strategy for contacting of Agencies for Condom Social Marketing Program in all States of India, conducting bidding process, drafted and managed contracts.
